Auburn fans are getting a treat for the new year. Starting January 2020, the new license plate design will be available for motorists in the state. The additional fee is $50, and net proceeds are distributed to Auburn's general scholarship fund. Therefore, these fees represent a charitable contribution from the purchaser to the general scholarship fund'. So, not only can you show off a new license plate with some sharp stylings of orange and navy stripes, but you can get an itemizable tax deduction, too!
The start of the new year also brings a new design for the University of Mobile, and the same $50 fee, along with itemizable tax deduction, applies.
